According to Vietnam News, a 31-year-old Indian national was admitted to Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi on July 27 with intense abdominal pain — only for staff to discover a LIVE 2-foot eel trying to eat its way out of the guy’s body!! They tried to remove the ray-finned fish where the sun don’t shine, but in the attempt they also found the man shoved a whole lime up his butt too!
My guy, what the heck! Docs had to perform emergency surgery where they removed the 25 inch long creature and the lime safely.
Surgeons also did a colostomy to prevent fecal matter from passing through the cuts made by the eel’s bite. This isn’t the first time a hospital in Vietnam removed an eel from someone’s rectum this year, either!
