1923 is back with Season 2, but fans are noticing that one character has been recast in the second season. Pete Plenty Clouds, son of Hank Plenty Clouds (Michael Greyeyes), was originally played by Cole Brings Plenty in Season 1 of the Paramount+ TV show, and there was plenty of storyline left for the character in the upcoming season.

Sadly, there was a terrible tragedy ahead of filming. Keep reading to find out more… Cole Brings Plenty was found dead in Kansas at age 27 in April of 2024, months before filming Season 2.

His family reported him missing after he did not attend an appointment with his agent, and his body was discovered when police investigated an unoccupied vehicle.

He had been named as a suspect in a domestic violence case days earlier. Cole fled the scene before local police arrived, and there was footage of him leaving the city after the incident.
