‘1923’ Adds Jennifer Carpenter To Season 2

deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter) has been cast in the Paramount+ series 1923 in a recurring role for Season 2.
Production is set to begin later this year. She will portray ‘Mamie Fossett,’ a highly capable U.S. Deputy Marshall who serves warrants and makes arrests with confidence ahead of her time.
1923 introduces a new generation of Duttons and explores the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought and the end of Prohibition all plague the Mountain West and the Duttons who call it home.
Season 1 starred Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, Brandon Sklenar, Aminah Nieves, Brian Geraghty, Sebastian Roche, Jennifer Ehle, Marley Shelton and Robert Patrick, among others.
