15-year-old boy arrested after cyclist robbed of his bike and stabbed in the leg

Officers were called to a report of a robbery on the off-road path in Manchester yesterday (November 11) at around 4.14pm.Enquiries established that a cyclist in his 30s had his bike stolen and was stabbed in the leg.He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.Officers later found the bike and arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of robbery and section 18 assault.
He has been released under investigation. Enquiries are on-going and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 1800 of 11/11/20 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
