While it might seem like December is offering a slower rollout, especially compared to the excess on the film side, there’s still plenty to catch on the television side as the year closes.

This is especially true as we all try and play catch up with the abundance of year-end best-of lists that are beginning to appear.

It’s a superhero and franchise-heavy month, with new series from “Star Wars” and DC and returning Marvel, but beyond that, there’s plenty to add to your watch list.
