Since moving to north London, the Norwegian has impressed for Mikel Arteta’s side and was a regular in the starting 11, prior to a recent injury.
That form has sparked hopes that the Gunners could make a permanent move for the midfielder, with Arteta confirming talks would be held at the end of the season.
