Zara McDermott speaks out after her BBC Strictly Come Dancing return spotted with 'quick' move

Zara McDermott has shared a message after he return to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom. The documentary maker was seen in the studio audience as the BBC One dance contest's first live show of the series took place on Saturday night (September 21).

Zara was in the studio with her boyfriend and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner Sam Thompson as they showed their support for their pal Pete Wicks as he performed for the first time with his pro dance partner Jowita Przystal.

But her appearance on Strictly comes following the exit of her own dance partner from the 2023 series, Graziano Di Prima. In July the Italian dancer revealed his departure from the show following reports about his treatment of the reality star. On her Instagram Story, the 27-year-old wrote: "We wanted to do something fun for Pete considering he was there in the audience for me this time last year with my face all over his shirt." In a follow-up post, Zara reshared a clip of Pete and Jowita's fiery paso doble to Breathe by electronic dance music band The Prodigy and wrote: "Such an incredible evening.
