The Bachelor star Zach Shallcross is revealing what he begged and pleaded for during his time as the star of the show, and was ultimately turned down by ABC.
We’re nearing the end of Zach‘s journey, but there were some bumps along the way as he contracted COVID-19, and then one of his contestants contracted it right after him. Zach still continued on his journey while recovering from the virus. Keep reading to find out more… “I would’ve never known in a million years that I’m going to get this COVID curve ball of taking a whole week away from us to where you can’t just put everything on hold, as much as I wanted to,” Zach told ET. “I begged and pleaded, [and] they’re like, ‘No, we have to keep this going.’” Unfortunately, producers of the show would not let Zach pause his season while he recovered to help keep his relationships afloat.
He ended up sending home one of his contestants, Greer Blitzer, after she contracted COVID and missed some time with him.
As a result, his relationship with some of the other women progressed further and she was eliminated. “So when I finally come back and she gets COVID right when I get back, that time is taken away from her.
