Zach Bryan is apologizing for his thoughts on Kanye West and Taylor Swift.

The 28-year-old country star caused a stir on social media early on Thursday (September 19) when he wrote in a now-deleted post on his X (Twitter) account: “eagles > chiefs. Kanye > Taylor.” “who’s with me,” he added, as he began getting backlash, resulting in him promptly deleting his account. In a series of Instagram Stories later in the day, he apologized. “For the record guys I wasn’t coming for Taylor the other night,” he began, sharing that he was listening to the single “Fortnight” from The Tortured Poets Department. “I was drunkenly comparing two records and it came out wrong.
