Zac Efron Films Scenes for New A24 Thriller 'Famous' on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood

Zac Efron is spending the day on set of his new movie. The 37-year-old actor took a break in between scenes of his upcoming A24 thriller Famous on Friday (November 8) as he filmed on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, Calif.

For his time on set, Zac showed off his buff muscles in a black T-shirt while wearing gray pants and orange-lensed glasses.

In the Jody Hill-directed movie, Zac will star in dual roles, “playing both overzealous fan, Lance Dunkquist, and Hollywood heartthrob, James Jansen.

The film is based on the acclaimed novel by bestselling author Blake Crouch and is adapted for the screen by Chad Hodge, who also adapted Crouch’s Wayward Pines trilogy into a series,” according to Deadline. “Lance Dunkquist has one asset that’s about to change his life – he has the face of a movie star.
