YouTuber Myka Stauffer sparks outrage by ‘rehoming’ adopted 4-year-old son with autism

YouTuber Myka Stauffer has confirmed that she and her husband have ‘rehomed’ their adopted four-year-old son, who has autism.

The 32-year-old and her husband James adopted Huxley from China two and a half years ago. However, he has now been ‘rehomed’, with the couple admitting he had ‘special needs that we weren’t aware of’.

The couple confirmed the news in a seven minute long video on Myka’s YouTube channel, which has 716,000 subscribers. ‘With international adoptions, there’s unknowns and things that are not transparent on files, and once Huxley came home, there was a lot more special needs that we weren’t aware of, and that we were not told,’ James said. ‘So over the last few years, Huxley has been in numerous therapies to try and help
