Fans have been left devastated after it was confirmed that YouTube star Ben Potter, known to his viewers as Comicstorian, has died at the age of 40 due to "an unfortunate accident." The popular comic book content creator, who boasted a loyal three million subscribers on his channel, was confirmed to have passed away by his wife Nathalie Potter, who made a heartbreaking vow to continue his legacy.

In an announcement posted on her late husband's social media account, Nathalie wrote: "Two days ago, on June 8th, my husband, Ben Potter, passed away in an unfortunate accident." She continued: "To many of you, he was Comicstorian, voicing stories from across multiple different mediums.To his loved ones, he was one of the best and most supportive individuals anyone could ask for." His wife described Ben as her 'rock' as she added: "As a husband, a son, a brother, a friend, or even just a stranger, Ben was loving and genuine.

He was someone who would listen and make time for his loved ones. He would do his best to make everyone laugh and make sure they were okay.

He was our rock and he'd reassure his loved ones whenever they needed it." She pleaded with fans to "respect her privacy" along with that of their family and friends after devastatingly losing her "world."
