A man from Manchester has been arrested after a young woman died after a car crash in Lancashire. The fatal crash took place on A56 Accrington Easterly Bypass at shortly before 8pm on Thursday (October 13).
It involved a Toyota CH-R and a Mercedes C220. It took place as the Toyota was travelling north and approached the roundabout at J8.
It was then struck from behind by a Mercedes C220 driving in the same direction. After the crash, both vehicles landed on the grass and the Toyota landed on its roof.
