Unfoonk, the older brother of Young Thug, has been sentenced to nine years and six months in prison for violating terms of his probation, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and WSB-TV report.
The rapper, real name Quantavious Grier, was put on probation after pleading guilty in December 2022 to violating Georgia’s RICO Act plus theft by receiving stolen property.
These charges were part of the same case Young Thug is currently on trial for. Grier took a plea deal and was sentenced to 12 years, two of which would be commuted, and 10 years of probation.
He was ordered to carry out 750 hours of community service, and placed under a curfew from the hours of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Read Next: Yeat shares new Young Thug collaboration “My Wrist” However, in May, Grier was arrested on firearm possession charges and investigators decided he had violated the terms of his probation.
