A young mum was heard desperately crying "help me, help me, I'm losing blood" after being stabbed outside Beech Hill Primary School in Luton.The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was reportedly attacked while dropping her children off at school on Tuesday morning and was then pursued down the street.She was swiftly taken to hospital by emergency services with serious injuries and is now said to be in a "stable" condition but remains hospitalised, reports the Mirror.Following the incident, a man was apprehended on Tuesday on charges of attempted murder, making threats to kill, and carrying a bladed weapon.

The scene was secured with a forensic tent as police established a cordon for their ongoing investigation. Bedfordshire Police confirmed: "Barze Faesal, 30, has been charged with attempted murder, making threats to kill and possession of a bladed article." He is set to face court proceedings today.Earlier, a police representative had stated: "Bedfordshire Police is investigating the stabbing of a woman near a school in Dunstable Road, Luton shortly after 8.30am this morning.""The victim has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

One man has been arrested and is currently in police custody. All children are safe within the school and there is no wider threat to the public.

Police will maintain a strong presence in the area for reassurance."A spokesperson for the school stated: "Bedfordshire Police is investigating the stabbing of a woman near the school in Dunstable Road.
