Young man who died in accident on manufacturing site in Carrington named

manchestereveningnews.co.ukCarrington has been named as David Kerin.Mr Kerin was 25-years-old.An inquest into his death is due to be opened and adjourned later this week at Stockport Coroner's Court.Police were called to reports that a man had been seriously injured on a site on Manchester Road at around 3pm on Tuesday (August 11).Mr Kerin was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.His place of death is listed by the coroner as the Saica paper mill, though bosses at the company said that he was not an employee and was working on a construction site nearby.In a statement, Saica Natur said: "On August 11th, 2020, an incident took place during the construction of Saica Natur’s new site in Carrington which is currently being developed and managed by an external.
