Tributes have been paid to a young Glasgow dad who died suddenly last week. Michael Beaton, known as Mick, passed away aged just 28 leaving his family and friends completely devastated.
It's understood Mick, who was from the east end of the city, was a freelance electrician for the BBC and worked backstage on a number of shows including River City.
The dad-of-one was a Celtic supporter and fans erupted into a round of applause in tribute to him during the 28th minute of their 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk at Celtic Park on Tuesday night.
Loved ones also released green, white and orange balloons and let off fireworks in his memory at a local park last Thursday.Dylan Paris said: “It was a privilege to call you a friend Mick Beaton.
