Young boy writes heart-warming note to favourite teacher inviting him to the pub

An eight-year-old boy has written a heart-warming letter to his PE teacher on his last day at school - inviting him to the pub 'one day'.

The boy, named Alfie, wrote the note in reply to a letter from his PE teacher, Mr George, who told the youngster just how 'amazing' it had been to teach him.

It was shared online by Alfie's mum, who explained that the teacher had called Alfie a "superstar" and praised him for always have a "positive attitude".

She then shared a picture of the sweet note, which read: "Mr George, you were the best PE teacher. Thank you for helping me.
