‘You must be joking’ Miriam O’Callaghan recalls how a journalist burst into her room after she gave birth

‘The problem is that we’re all addicted to our phones, and sometimes it’s like getting a lot of text messages from people saying horrible things about you,’ says Miriam O’Callaghan of the Twitter trolls that harangue her.

For the most part, however, the veteran broadcaster is able to laugh off the critical remarks which have included comments about her being biased for several political parties at the same time which she finds hilarious and is determined to remain on the platform even when some of her colleagues have dropped off.

The reason? she finds it an ‘incredibly informative’ platform and an amusing one in spite of the comments she’s been forced to face down.
