Broadcaster Mark Cagney has opened up about his tough mental recovery following two strokes earlier this year. Appearing on Ireland AM this morning, the TV host joined Laura Woods and Alan Hughes to talk about the difficult past few months as he comes to terms with his shock health scare.
The 64-year-old was taken to Beamount Hospital on 8 January after suffering two strokes – one while out running errands in the supermarket and another later that day while at home with his daughter Sophie.
