A judge told a young dad to 'grow up' after stating his 'reckless driving' was some of the worst he had ever seen. Shane Oliver led police on five-minute chase in a Range Rover Evoque, reaching speeds of up to 90mph, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The 22-year-old drove the wrong way around roundabouts and drove into oncoming traffic on dual-carriageway before eventually smashing the car into a wall of a pub's beer garden.
A judge said clips of the chase were some 'of the most appalling, dangerous and reckless driving I have ever had to watch'. He said it was lucky that no-one was killed in the incident. When the vehicle's detailed were checked, officers found that only two women and a man in his 60s were insured to drive the car and decided to follow it upon observing that the driver was in his 20s.
