'Yobs throw fireworks outside our home because we're Polish - I fear for my life'

A mum says she is living in fear after her family home became a repeated target for yobs. Katarzyna Glowacka says rocks are being thrown and fireworks launched outside the property.

She believes the incidents are racially motivated - with her family being targeted 'because we are Polish'. CCTV footage shows the moment youths launch objects at the house in Huyton, Merseyside, where Katarzyna's family have lived since May.

In one terrifying clip, a firework is seen launched straight at the house. Merseyside Police is investigating the abuse as a hate crime, the Liverpool Echo reports. It's a group of kids and they started kicking our door, they destroyed our car - I have a dent on my car. "They throw rocks and take fireworks and fire them outside the house.
