Love Island 2019 contestant Yewande Biala says her parents constantly ask her when she will get a ‘real’ job after she turned her back on her career as a pharmacist to become a reality star.
The 25-year-old star has brains as well as beauty – with a first class honours degree and a masters in pharmaceuticals under her belt.
But Yewande decided to walk away from her career in the world of science and medicine two years ago for a chance to star on Love Island.
Yewande grew up in Ireland after her parents moved with her from Nigeria when she was three years old, and she admits her hard working parents are baffled by her new career as an influencer.
