‘Yellowstone’ spinoff with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser’s Beth and Rip officially in the works: report

Deadline reported Wednesday.The show is reportedly being worked on by “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan and will likely feature other cast members from the show in addition to Reilly, 47, and Hauser, 49.Deadline also reported that the spinoff will be set in the same present-day time frame as the flagship series.

The Post has reached out to reps for “Yellowstone” for comment.News of the spinoff comes ahead of the upcoming “Yellowstone” Season 5 finale airing Sunday.

While Paramount has said the show is ending after Season 5, there’s been theories that the series could continue for another season at least.Sources told Deadline that “doing another season is not out of the question,” but the focus on continuing the story of “Yellowstone” is now on the new show about Beth and Rip.In August, multiple outlets reported that “Yellowstone” may return for a Season 6 with a story that would focus on Reilly and Hauser’s beloved charactersHauser, 49, told The Post in September that he’d reprise his role as Rip beyond Season 5.“If Taylor writes it, I would certainly love to do it,” he said. “The cast, you know, I consider them all family.
