‘Yellowjackets’ Ups Sarah Desjardins To Series Regular For Season 3
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: There will be a change in the credits for the upcoming third season of Yellowjackets. Sarah Desjardins, who has recurred on the series since Season 1 as Shauna’s (Melanie Lynskey) daughter Callie, will be seen in an expanded role following a promotion to series regular.
Desjardin was quietly elevated before production began on Season 3. Callie has a strained relationship with Shauna, in particular, and Shauna’s husband Jeff.
Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness.
The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.
