‘Yellowjackets’: Showtime Sets Return Date For Emmy-Nominated Drama

Enough with all the buzzing about Yellowjackets; it’s time to see what the gals from that high school soccer team are going to do next in the frigid mountain air.

Showtime announced today that Yellowjackets will return for its second season Friday, March 24 on streaming and on demand for subscribers, before making its on-air debut on Sunday, March 26 at 9 p.m.

ET/PT. Season one, which earned a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes and received seven Emmy nominations, averaged more than 5 million weekly viewers across platforms and was the second-most streamed series in Showtime history.

Produced for Showtime by studio Entertainment One (eOne), the series is currently in production in Vancouver. Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos), Yellowjackets stars Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), Juliette Lewis (Camping), Christina Ricci (Z: The Beginning of Everything) and Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable).
