This past November, Key Glock dropped Yellow Tape 2, the follow-up to his studio debut (2020's Yellow Tape) and a long string of mixtapes stretching back to 2016.
On March 25, the Memphis rapper will share Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe) via Paper Route EMPIRE, the imprint created by his late hometown legend and mentor, Young Dolph, who signed Glock in 2017.
The expanded album will clock in at 83 minutes and feature 10 new tracks. Glock has now released the first of these, "Pain Killers," along with an arctic visual treatment.
The new song is an ice-cold anthem, featuring a SLAUGHTER instrumental that combines an old-school Spanish guitar sample with a heavy trap beat. "I ain't got no feelings, I will pop you like a painkiller," Glock raps on the chorus with the monotone inflection of a psychopath.
