Years and Years will continue as a solo act for Olly Alexaner, it has been announced. The band - behind hit singles Desire and King - have performed as a three-piece since 2014 with Olly as the frontman alongside Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Türkmen.
In a statement shared with fans on Thursday, the band revealed that Goldsworthy and Türkmen were quitting the group ahead of the release of the third Years & Years album.
The statement read: "This upcoming new album has been an Olly endeavour and we’ve decided that Years & Years will continue as an Olly solo project. "The three of us are still good friends.
