X Factor’s Myles Stephenson left fans fearing for the worst as he revealed he’s battling a rare heart condition. The 31 year old explained that he was undergoing tests after finding out that he has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and had to be hooked up to monitors and take part in a fitness test.

Speaking from his car after the tests, Myles explained to fans how he was feeling about the diagnosis: “I am ok. I have a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which basically means in a nutshell that my heart walls are too thick and it can cause problems pumping blood around my body. “So I have yearly check-ups.This is all very new to me as well so I am still working out what I need to do and how I have to carry myself now with regards to my heart and how much exercise I can do and stuff like that.” The Rak-Su star went on to say he had a fitness test but it was cut short because his blood pressure is "dangerously high".

However, he was quick to reassure his fans, insisting: “I am all good, not to worry, it’s very new to me, I am trying to understand what is going on.” Myles recently revealed that his son Shiloh, one, was rushed to hospital. “We had a bit of a scare yesterday," he told The Sun. "We had to take him to A&E because he’d had his jabs and he started showing all the signs for hypothermia. “We took him to hospital last night but he’s all good now thankfully.” The health scare comes a month after Myles revealed that he and girlfriend Keli Hall are expecting their second child.

Earlier this year, Myles spoke to OK! Online, where he gave some rare insight into his relationship with Keli and their adorable son.
