Wythenshawe bus station in south Manchester was closed this morning following a 4am assault which left a man with serious head injuries.
Police and paramedics were called to the interchange at 4.25am. The bus station was cordoned off and an investigation is underway.
Bus services were arriving and departing from stops adjacent to the interchange. Metrolink services were unaffected. Police and paramedics were called and one man is believed to have suffered injuries to his face and head. An investigation is underway and one man has been arrested, the M.E.N.
