A woman who woke up from a month-long coma has told how she was ghosted by her partner who moved on with someone else. After Brie Duval moved from Australia to Canada, she working in her dream job and was in a great relationship at the age of 25.However, her almost perfect life soon came crumbling down around her following a disaster during a night out last year.On Sunday, August 29, Brie ended up having a horrific fall down a car park which was currently undergoing construction.

This ongoing work that one of the walls hadn't been finished, resulting in a drop directly down to the pavement, the Mirror reports.

In the darkness, it was difficult to see and with no signs or tape covering the drop, Brie ended up falling headfirst over the edge.

She was airlifted to the University of Alberta Hospital and placed on life support with a brain injury and numerous broken bones.
