Woman who died in horror crash outside pub in Tameside named

A woman who died in a horror crash outside a pub in Droylsden has been named as Barbara Daniel. Ms Daniel sadly died at the scene on Haddon Hall Road after a driver, aged in his 70s, lost control of his car and crashed into a group of pedestrians.

Two other women were seriously injured and taken to hospital after the incident at around 12.15pm on October 21. The driver of the car remained at the scene and assisted police. READ MORE: Woman, 38, dies after being hit by G-Wagon car in Manchester No arrests were made, police said.

A file in relation to Ms Daniel's death has been passed to South Manchester Coroners' Court, a spokesperson confirmed. An inquest opening will be held at a later date.
