A woman who died after being found in a Glasgow lane is believed to have been 'lying on the ground' before being struck by a car.Emergency services raced to Wellington Lane at around 2.40pm, on August 13, following reports of an incident.
Police taped off Wellington Street and a major an investigation was launched. Twelve police vehicles, two fire engines and ambulance crews were in attendance.
Cops previously said that a pedestrian was involved and they have now confirmed a 40-year-old has died.A post-mortem has yet to take place.
However, the family of the woman has been informed, reports Glasgow Live.Police believe that the woman had been dropped off in Wellington Lane prior to her being struck by the vehicle.
