A woman has shared a simple hack that she believes could help many people cut their food shopping bill in half - and all you have to do is pay more attention in the supermarket.

TikTok user Maneet Kaur has gone viral after sharing a video about supplier codes on food packaging. The 28-year-old from Leicester discussed how many people tend to go for the more expensive option when buying food, but they might actually be wasting their money.

This is because many of the items can have the same batch and supplier codes - meaning they were supplied by the same company.
