Woman urged to 'run' after boyfriend's comments during innocent discussion

A young woman has been advised to "run" after sharing an apparently harmless conversation she had with her boyfriend. The 21-year-old, who has been in a relationship with her partner "Alex" for three years, revealed they had started discussing marriage and starting a family together.

While browsing on her phone, she came across a video featuring "cute boy names". She was particularly taken with the name Everett and playfully suggested to Alex that it should be the name of their first child.

However, Alex, 23, responded by saying he liked the name but it would have to be reserved for their second child, which left her puzzled.

He explained that there is a tradition in his family where every first-born son is given the same name. This name is shared by his older brother, his uncle, grandfather and others in the family.
