Woman thrown from out of control motorbike left 'at side of the road' as driver flees

The injured passenger, who had been riding on the back of the bike, was taken to hospital after she came off the rear of the vehicle on the afternoon of Monday, August 16.

Police who were called to the scene of the crash, in Skelmersdale, near Wigan, say the driver of the bike then 'fled the scene' leaving the injured woman.
