court heard that 59-year-old Corinna Baines 'brutally and painfully' killed her husband. Baines was found guilty of murdering her 81-year-old husband at their home in the Wirral, near Liverpool, reports the Manchester Evening News.The mum killed Michael Baines on July 14, 2020, after a family dispute took place.
The pair had been wed for 38 years. On the day before the attack took place, Corinna Baines was described as being angry and distressed at a rumour circulating about her husband that she believed to be true, according to police.
On the day of the incident she returned home and filled a bucket from her garden with boiling water and mixed it with three kilos of sugar.
