A woman was reportedly mauled by a pair of Rottweilers after she ‘went to pet’ the animals.The woman, who is in her 40s, suffered multiple bites to the arms and legs.
Police officers gave first aid to the victim until she was taken to hospital.A 41-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog in a public place.Both were questioned by detectives, reported the Liverpool Echo.The alleged incident took place in Netherton in Merseyside at around 5.45pm on Friday.It was reported the injured woman went to pet the Rottweilers, who were on a lead, when they bit her several times.The dog owners, a man and a woman, tried to release the dogs from the victim.The man took the dogs away from the scene while the female owner stayed with the victim until cops arrived.
