A Wigan woman is 'living in fear' after finding a mouse in her bed. Zoe Pierce says her home has been plagued by the tiny pests for the last three weeks, leaving her struggling to eat and sleep.

The vermin have been spotted crawling across her kitchen floor and worktops, and even chewing through food packaging in her kitchen.

Ms Pierce, 27, said: "I cannot sleep or eat because I am living in fear. "They are climbing up my fridge and over my kitchen sides. "I pulled the quilt on my bed back the other day and there was a baby mouse in there. "I will not move from the couch when I am in the house in case I see one." Ms Pierce says she has also experienced difficulty breathing recently, which she claims doctors have put down to inhaling dust
