A woman was excited when a box from Selfridges arrived on her doorstep. Nicole Al Rais had splashed out around £1,000 on various purchases from the prestigious department store – from beauty bits to clothing items.
The influencer set up her camera so she could film her reaction to all the goodies. But she instantly noticed something felt a little strange about the box that was delivered from the iconic London shop – as it felt extremely light.
According to the shopper, she opened the box to find absolutely nothing inside. In a five minute clip, Nicole claimed: “Selfridges scammed me and I want to know if they’ve scammed other people because I am taking action.” She also added some context, noting that “as a content creator” she films “a lot of her life”.
Nicole posted a further video unboxing the package and finding “nothing” inside. Confused, she approached the iconic store for a refund but after an initial investigation, Selfridges allegedly informed her they would not be refunding or replacing her goods because the order had been processed “correctly”.
