Woman hit by vehicle in pedestrianised Ayrshire town centre

The driver has subsequently been charged with driving without due care and attention."Drivers are reminded that a Temporary Order is in place at Main Street, Kilwinning - prohibiting vehicles of any description from using the Main Street Pedestrian Zone from 1030-1530hrs Monday-Saturday inclusive. "Officers from the Kilwinning locality team have been enforcing restrictions on the Main Street as well as addressing issues of speeding in the area.
