dailyrecord.co.ukA woman has been left fuming as she has been £649 out of pocket over Christmas due to a heated refund battle with Currys. Jayne Price has been stuck waiting three weeks for a refund for an iPhone from the retailer, reports Grimsby Live.
The Hull woman visited Currys at a retail park in Grimsby last month and bought an iPhone 13 mini so that she could speak to a family member who was ill in hospital.
Jayne claims after purchasing she was told the phone would take 24 hours arrive at the store.However, when she went to collect the Apple product the next day, it hadn't arrived at the store.
After waiting again, Jayne still had no phone so decided to go elsewhere to buy another one. Following her purchase, she returned the old iPhone that eventually turned up and requested for a refund.
