A woman was reportedly found hiding in a Navy engineer's wardrobe - where she spent two weeks before being discovered. The Sun reports that the woman had been hiding at the base for two weeks after an aircraft technician smuggled her inside the boot of a car after returning from leave.
The paper said that 'complaints about the smell' led to a team of officers barging in where she was found hiding inside before being escorted off the base.
Her lover, said to be from the elite Commando Helicopter Force, told superiors she is his girlfriend and not a spy. It has been reported that the woman may have allegedly lured the man into a so-called honeytrap in a bid to seize secrets at the Yeovilton, Somerset, base.
