Woman found dead 'stabbed multiple times' as police launch manhunt for killer

It is understood that a woman suffered multiple stab wounds during an incident in the early hours of this morning, Manchester Evening News reports.
Police have reportedly launched a manhunt for the killer.A large cordon is in place in the area, with locals unable to "drive or cross the street", one eyewitness said.Images from the scene show cops carrying out enquiries, with one house believed to be the focus of the investigation.Officers are seen standing guard around the cordon while the forensic specialists take photographs of the scene.Greater Manchester Police has been approached for comment.
