Woman ended up on life support after 'excited' dog headbutted her while playing

A dog owner has told of how she ended up on life support after her playful pet accidentally headbutted her while doing 'zoomies'.

Erin Stevenson had been watching her lively pooch Skyy playing out in the garden, when she hurtled towards her and accidentally crashed into her chin.

Erin, 41, states that her neck started to ache the next day but she just assumed that it was a sore throat and planned to visit a doctor, The Mirror reports.

When the speech therapist woke up at 3am on the third day with a swollen neck and unable to swallow, she went to the hospital where she assumed she would be prescribed antibiotics and sent home.
