A woman was dragged into some bushes by a man in a south Manchester park in a horrific attempted sexual assault. The man - who pretended he was a taxi driver - approached the victim near Platt Fields Park on Wilmslow Road in Fallowfield last night (Saturday).
He followed her before he grabbed her and pulled her into the trees, police said. She managed to raise the alarm with passers-by about the terrifying attack, which happened at around 11.15pm.

He is described as being Asian and aged in his 30s. He has short, dark cropped hair with a short, dark full beard and was wearing a black coat.
