Woman dies suddenly at Skye Live music festival

A woman has died at a Scots music festival over the weekend.Cops confirmed the woman died after taking unwell on May 11 in Portree, at the Skye Live music festivalEmergency services raced to the scene just before midnight on Saturday, but sadly she was pronounced dead at the scene.There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.55pm on Saturday, 11 May, we were called to a report of a woman unwell at an event in Portree.“Police and Ambulance attended however the woman was pronounced dead." They added: “Enquiries continue however there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.“A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”Skye Live has been approached for comment.
