Clarice Berry, 77, died after the gable end of her home in Old Lane, Shevington, gave way on July 18. An inquest into her death opened at Bolton Coroner's Court today (Wednesday, July 28). "Suddenly, the gable end of the house above the carport gave way and crumbled into where Mrs Berry was stood.
