Woman charged in connection with fatal crash on Scots road last year

Police have charged a woman after a fatal crash one year ago.Officers have confirmed that a 58 year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the crash on the A6091 at Melrose in the Scottish Borders at around 8.35am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

A report will now be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.A 30-year-old man, Stuart Finnie, from Gavinton in the Scottish Borders, tragically died at the scene.At the time, his heartbroken wife Alison paid tribute to her 'darling husband' following his tragic death.She said: “I am devastated to announce that I tragically lost my darling husband Stuart Finnie on Tuesday 1st February 2022.“Stu was the best husband I could have asked for.
