West Lothian. The 52-year-old was walking her German Shepherd in a wooded area near Nicholson Way, Livingston, at around 8pm on Sunday when the incident took place.
The two men, who spoke with Eastern European accents, approached the woman and demanded she hand over her dog. When she refused, one of the men grabbed hold of the animal’s lead while the other pushed the woman away.
A scuffle broke out which resulted in the dog biting one of the attackers, causing both men to flee in the direction of Livingston North Railway Station.
The woman sustained minor injuries and the dog was not hurt.Both men are described as white, around 5ft 10in tall while one was wearing grey jogging bottoms and the other wore dark jeans.Detective Constable Marc.
